The article provides a comprehensive theoretical analysis of modern approaches to the organization of social and psychosocial support for children deprived of parental care as one of the most vulnerable population groups. The relevance of the study is обусловлена by the increasing social risks, particularly in the context of societal transformations and crisis phenomena that contribute to the growing number of children facing difficult life circumstances. The paper examines key scientific concepts and approaches to organizing social work with this category of children within the framework of social policy reform, the development of child protection systems, and the modernization of the educational environment. The results of domestic and international studies devoted to issues of social adaptation, integration, the development of life competencies, and the provision of psycho-emotional well-being of children under state care or in alternative family based settings are summarized. Particular attention is paid to the impact of traumatic experiences, attachment disorders, and the risks of social maladaptation, which require a comprehensive approach to social support. The importance of interdisciplinary cooperation among social workers, psychologists, educators, healthcare professionals, and representatives of non-governmental organizations in ensuring effective support for children is emphasized. The article also considers the potential of modern digital tools and technologies in social work, particularly for needs assessment, individualized support, and improving service accessibility. Prospective directions for improving social work technologies are outlined, including the implementation of innovative support models, the development of family-oriented approaches, the strengthening of preventive components, and the enhancement of professional competencies of specialists. The proposed approaches aim to increase the effectiveness of the social support system and to ensure sustainable development and social integration of children deprived of parental care.
