Abstract

The article notes that the fundamental development of personality occurs during the period of study, so you should make the most of this time for music education, forming musical taste and creative development of personality, enriching the social experience of students. In modern conditions of information technology development, music education programs must take into account the current musical and social needs of the new generation, protecting young people from passive, undifferentiated consumption of information, in particular, music. It has been proven that music lessons contribute to the expansion of musical and universal horizons, the development of artistic thinking, aesthetic and musical taste. Mastering the key concepts of musical art, the young generation develops an increased interest in creative activities, the musical heritage of the Ukrainian people, classical and modern. It has been proven that the art of music is a powerful tool for the development of the emotional world of the individual. The essence of the emotional impact of musical art on a person is that his perception activates intuitive ideas and emotions, which provides an understanding of the emotional nature of music. It is noted that the actualization in music pedagogy of methods and techniques stimulate creative, intuitive understanding of music, develop the ability of intonational understanding of musical works, activate the process of artistic perception of personality, develop its artistic thinking. It is described that in order to form a positive attitude of students to musical activities, it is important that the musical orientations of the younger generation are reflected in the content of classes. For the creative development of young people, it is important for music teachers to reveal the full range of directions and types of music culture, so that they can choose the forms and trends closest to them.
