Abstract

The article highlights the main aspects of the formation of graphic and technical writing skills of first graders. The content of each stage of the formation of graphic skills in the preparatory period of learning to write is revealed. The work in notebooks without a notebook grid on the perception of the shape of a figure, a graphic element, where the image of various lines separately and in combination is offered, is defined. Work in notebooks without a grid is represented, for example tracing stencils, combining dots in a figure, hatching. The work in the grid of the notebook is defined, for example, writing lines similar to the elements of letters. Work in an incomplete grid of the notebook is outlined – writing in the main line, in a line supplemented by a line between the lines, and work in the full grid of the notebook is highlighted. In the process of observing first-graders learning to write, it was established that during the preparatory period, most of them put a lot of pressure on the paper when shading and coloring figures and when writing in a line. This happens when students have not mastered the form of the element of the letter, graphemes, the sequence of writing. Pupils cannot coordinate the movement of the hand and slow it down when moving to another direction, or too small or too large shapes are given for hatching, or there are mechanical obstacles. The article highlights some types of graphic errors that can be prevented by clearly explaining the task, correcting the error in time, and being able to determine the time for your class for purely graphic activities. Important importance is attached to «writing» in the air. It has been established that appropriately used writing to the beat is effective, which forces you to carefully follow the writing of the element of the letter, and also has a positive effect on the formation of neatness and fluency of writing.
