Abstract

The article analyzes progressive approaches to teaching English with the integration of GPT chat, finds out their advantages and challenges, and also considers the potential prospects of using artificial intelligence in the educational process. It is noted that traditional methods of teaching English are successfully combined with the latest methods and technology in the field of education. The approaches of active learning are identified, among which communicative, problem-based, mixed learning approaches are dominant. It is emphasized that the integration of modern tools with the use of digital technologies to increase the effectiveness of education is timely. It was established that the successful implementation of GPT in the educational process requires careful planning and preparation. Educators must be well-versed in the capabilities and limitations of this technology in order to integrate it into the curriculum as effectively as possible. A component of the successful use of the GPT chat language model in the educational space is the availability of the necessary training for those seeking education. It was emphasized that technical capabilities also play a significant role in the implementation of GPT in educational institutions, as it is necessary to ensure access to the necessary hardware and software, and to ensure adequate technical support for the smooth operation of the systems. This is especially true for schools and universities in resource-constrained regions where technological capabilities may be limited. An important aspect is also taking into account the ethical aspects of the use of artificial intelligence, in particular the confidentiality of student data and ensuring the ethical use of technology in the educational environment. There is no doubt that the development and improvement of GPT models and other artificial intelligence technologies can lead to the creation of more complex educational environments that will be able not only to adapt to the needs of each learner, but also to anticipate their individual difficulties and offer appropriate solutions. This can significantly improve the quality of education by increasing the level of English language proficiency among learners, and also help to better prepare them for the challenges of a globalized world.
