Abstract

Success in the education of each individual depends on many factors and factors. The most important factor influencing the development of a child’s personality is the family. The family is a natural environment for the physical, spiritual, intellectual, cultural, social development of a child, its material support, and is responsible for creating appropriate conditions for this. The family contributes not only to the formation, but also to the self-affirmation of the individual, stimulates his social and creative activity, and reveals his individuality. It is the deep and close emotional contact of parents with the child that is a necessary condition for upbringing. The modern Ukrainian family is in the process of transformation, changes in the socio-political and economic life of the country have caused a reassessment of moral norms and values, which weakens the effectiveness of its educational function. The role of the family consists in the gradual involvement of the child in social life, in promoting its development in accordance with its age and individual characteristics. The influence of the family on the formation of the child’s personality in preschool age is especially important, since it is the basic period of the formation of the child’s personality and the formation of his worldview. Preschool age can be considered the period in a child’s life when he discovers something new for himself almost every day. A child of preschool age especially actively learns the world around him with its diversity of human relations, phenomena and activities of adults. The article analyzes the views of outstanding teachers on the formation and development of a preschool child in a family environment. The peculiarities of family education in the modern Ukrainian family are determined. The factors influencing the socialization of the child in the family are described. The role of mother and father in the personal development of a preschool child is characterized. The conditions of effective family education are defined.
