FORMATION OF A RHETORICAL COMPETENCE OF A FUTURE TEACHER OF A PRIMARY SCHOOL

The article deals with the problem of the development of a rhetorical competence of a future educator as a necessary component of the professional educational activity. On the basis of a theoretical analysis of the psycho-pedagogical and special literature, and practical experience the main conceptual approaches to the formation of a rhetorical competence of future teachers during their professional preparation have been pointed out. Peculiarities of the organization of the educational cognitive activity of the future teachers who study rhetoric have been justified. The need of meeting the following requirements – the creation of the relevant psycho-pedagogical conditions, building of a whole professional methodological system of education, implementation of the executive creative report, and gradual systematic evaluation of the students’ knowledge and skills – has been defined. It has been concluded that the study of rhetoric and the acquisition of a rhetorical competence are important factors of the formation of a communicative competence of a future teacher.
